Ready to talk transportation

After hundreds of hard-hatted labor unionists and their supporters rallied Thursday on the State Capitol Mall in favor of more transportation funding, Gov. Tim Pawlenty held his first formal news conference in a month and urged the workers' legislative advocates to negotiate with him on a plan to move Minnesota forward.
