Reminder - screening with 1st District Nominations Committee 4/26/08

Hi Everyone,



Just another reminder and I encourage all of you to consider screening for positions on the 1st District DFL Executive Committee or for delegates to represent us on state party commissions or state convention committees.


The Nominations Committee will be screening on the morning of our convention - April 26 beginning at 8:15am at the Southwest Middle School in Albert Lea. To help things go quickly and smoothly, you can fill out your 2-page form that you'll need to bring into your 10-minute screening.


To print this form, go to http://www.cd1dfl.org. There's a pdf link just above the picture of Congressman Walz. You can write your answers ahead of time and take it into your screening on April 26.

All positions are open, but there are some in particular for which no one or not enough people screened for on April 12: Female positions on the state Constitution Commission (2 yr); both male & female on the state Affirmative Action Commission (2 yr); female positions on the state Platform Commission (2 yr); female positions on the state Nominations Committee (lasts through the state convention); male positions on the state Credentials Committee (through the state convention). I'd encourge to you screen for these and any of the positions listed on the form.
