Send a ‘Truckload of Help’ to flood-stricken communities
Monday, Oct. 8
Folks in flood-stricken Southeastern Minnesota communities are
working hard to dry, repair and rebuild their damaged homes
before winter. On Monday, Oct. 8, Rochester area residents can
send a whole truckload of help to these hard-working families.
Here’s how:
Look at the list of building supplies below.
Find the items that you want to donate.
Bring your donations to:
Rochester Plumbers and Pipefitters Hall Local 6
1470 Industrial Drive, Rochester, MN
7:30 AM - 6 PM (Between)
Monday, October 8
Items needed include:
Crow bars
Hammers/nails
Screwdrivers/screws of various lengths
Utility knives,
Sheet rock nails/tape/plaster,
Masonry trowels,
Heavy duty work gloves,
Chalk lines/refills,
Tape measures,
Paint brushes-4in and 2 ½ inch tapered,
Paint rollers 3/8 inch nap with roller handles and trays,
Portable drills with batteries,
Large plastic tubs,
Dehumidifiers, fans, mops & brooms,
25’ heavy-duty extension cords,
Hoses
Plastic tarps.
Note: Please supply a box or plastic tub with your donation.
The ‘Truckload of Help’ is being sponsored by the union
members of the Southeast Minnesota Area Labor Council
in cooperation with the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 6 and
Teamsters Locals 120 and 160.
