PROPERTY TAX REFUND – HOW MUCH WOULD YOU GET?

Dear Neighbors,

The House Tax Committee has introduced a proposal (HF 3149) to reform the property tax refund program. Changes to this program would increase refunds for many Minnesotans, but would reduce refunds for some. A property tax refund calculator has been set up online, and can tell you how your family would fare under this new proposal. The calculator can be found on the House Tax Committee website at: http://www.house.leg.state.mn.us/comm/committee.asp?comm=3000

Scroll down to the link that says "Calculate property tax relief proposed…."

I would greatly appreciate your input on this piece of legislation, so I can make the best decision for our community on this important issue. You can contact me by phone at (651) 296-9249 or by email at . I look forward to your comments.
