ROCHESTER MEETING OF WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE 2-26

The Ways and Means Committee of the Minnesota House of Representatives
will be heading down to the GREAT CITY of Rochester on February 26th,
2007.


The topics the meeting will cover are as follows:


Property Tax Relief
Higher Education
and
Health Care

If you want to speak but are uncertain what you will say just yet, you
can come to the meeting and we will be offering an "Open Mike" after the
pre-scheduled speakers.


The Meeting is at 7:30 pm, 2/26/07
at Kellogg Middle School.


This is the final committee to hear all spending and tax bills in the
Minnesota House. This Committee also sets the spending targets for the
major finance committees. It is our chance to be heard in the
legislative system without leaving town. Isn't it nice now that
Rochester is on the political radar?
