Screening for 1st District DFL Positions 4/26/08

Hi Everyone,



Our 1st District Nominations committee has asked me to remind and encourage everyone to consider screening for positions on the 1st District DFL Executive Committee or for delegates to represent us on state party commissions or state convention committees.


The committee screened a number of people last Saturday. They'll screen again on the morning of our convention - April 26 beginning at 8:15am at the Southwest Middle School in Albert Lea. To help things go quickly and smoothly, you can fill out your 2-page form that you'll need to bring into your 10-minute screening.

Some of the holes that we really need to fill yet are: Female positions on the state Constitution Commission (2 yr); both male & female on the state Affirmative Action Commission (2 yr); female positions on the state Platform Commission (2 yr); female positions on the state Nominations Committee (lasts through the state convention); male positions on the state Credentials Committee (through the state convention). I'd encourge to you screen for these and any of the positions listed on the form.
