Just a month from now, Election Day will have come and gone, and we’ll all be sitting down with our families and loved ones to celebrate Thanksgiving. But in the next two weeks, please help us give you something that we can all be truly thankful for: a Minnesota that works.

Just imagine sitting down to dinner, and giving thanks for a Minnesota that elected Amy Klobuchar as our U.S. Senator, and two (or three, or four!) new Democratic representatives in Congress from Minnesota. And giving thanks for an incoming administration that will run Minnesota government effectively and accountably, with Governor Mike Hatch at the helm, and Lieutenant Governor Judi Dutcher, Attorney General Lori Swanson, Secretary of State Mark Ritchie, and State Auditor Rebecca Otto stepping into the constitutional offices.
Just imagine all the changes that we can look forward to with gratitude, with Speaker Margaret Anderson Kelliher working hand in hand with Senate Majority Leader Dean Johnson. Smaller classes, affordable tuition, and student loans for any student in need. Affordable, accessible, universal health care. Safe roads, systematic repairs, and thoughtfully planned construction that relieves congestion and gridlock. Clean air, fishable water, and strong environmental policies that ensure healthy communities and conserve natural resources. Basic services at a fair price; tax relief for families, farmers, and small businesses; and a return to progressive taxation based on means.
