STATE DFL CONVENTION LINEUP

Over 100 local volunteers have worked to prepare the materials needed for today’s opening of the DFL State Convention at Rochester, MN.

The line-up of events for the next three days are:

FRIDAY:

The featured activities for today concentrate on the DFL Platform. During the precinct caucuses, people submitted resolutions designed to create Party Planks used to construct the Party Platform. Today, those planks will be debated, discussed, and the Party Platform will be adopted.

Another key event will be the selection of a candidate to run for Senator against Norm Coleman and another Senator to replace Mark Dayton.

SATURDAY:

The most important event on Saturday is selection of the DFL gubernatorial candidate to run against Tim Pawlenty. Candidates are:

- Mike Hatch
- Steve Kelley
- Becky Lawrey

SUNDAY

Delegates will choose DFL candidates to run for:

- Attorney General,
- State Auditor,
- Secretary of State
