Sviggum Is Wrong

Today in the Minnesota House Republicans press release, one of Speaker Sviggum’s quotes reads, “...we have the best economic climate, most productive workforce and lowest unemployment rate in the nation.”

The last point on unemployment is absolutely false.

According to US Dept. of Labor statistics from December (the most up-to-date), Minnesota ranks 16th in unemployment.

We hope this does not go by unnoticed!

Minnesotans deserve the truth from its public officials.
