The following is information on the inauguration of the 110th Congress.
Congressman-elect Tim Walz will arrive in Washington DC on January 2nd. Prior to being sworn in, he will take part in a number of traditional events, including the Bi-partisan Prayer Service on the morning of January 4th.
JAN 4th
11AM-3PM EST Walz Open House
1529 Longworth House Office Bldg
This is the first time the Walz office will open to the public. Congressman-elect Walz will likely be in the office at the start and finish of the open house. The public will be able to view the swearing-in live on TV from the Walz office.
Refreshments will be served.
NOON EST
US House of Representatives Called to Order
Note: Speaker Pelosi’s office has advised us to expect up to two hours of floor business.
1:30PM EST

Ceremonial Swearing-in with Speaker Pelosi
