Take Back the Night

The Family Violence Coordinating Council and the Boys and Girls Club of Rochester will present a Take Back the Night event to honor victims of Domestic Violence and support survirors.

Please join us on Wednesday, October 19th at 6:30 pm at The Boys and Girls Club of Rochester.  There will be a proclamation by Mayor Brede recognizing Domestic Violence Awareness month. Our keynote speaker is author and domestic violence survivor Becky Due.  Music will be performed by the Rochester Boys and Girls Hip Hop Team and “Falling Further”, a local folk duo. A candle light walk to honor the Minnesota victims of domestic violence in 2004 and an open microphone for the public will end the evening.
