Make a Difference in Rochester - Choose your Candidates Now!


One key strategy for winning quality, affordable health care for everyone in Minnesota is to elect bold progressive leaders at all levels of government.


As TakeAction Minnesota members, we have the opportunity to get together to ask questions of the federal, state, and local candidates who will represent Rochester. We get to vote on which candidates to endorse; we get to play a role in building the majority they need to win. In 2006, our endorsement made the difference in close races around the state. In 2008 we are poised to have an even bigger impact.

You are invited to our upcoming Candidate Screening:


Saturday, August 9th, 2:30-5:00pm*
1st Congressional District, Tim Walz
House District 30A, Rochester - Tina Liebling
House District 31B, La Crescent - Ken Tschumper
Rochester Ward 2 City Council Candidates (invited)

The screening is at the United Way Services Building - Conference Rooms A & B (click below for directions) 903 West Center Street, Rochester, 55902.

*The public is welcome to attend. Only members may vote. New and lapsed members can join the day of the screening. Attendees must be in the room for the entire screening of each candidate in a given race to vote in that race.
