The Death of Sue Rockne

Sue was a mentor and friend to many of us. She was one of the original great
women of the DFL.

I will pass on more information as it comes to me.

Subject: The Death of Sue Rockne

Dear Friend:

Sue Rockne died at 2 AM this morning, February 27, 2005.  Her illness
was long and finally got the best of her.  She will be greatly missed by all
of us who knew her wit and her drive.

The family is planning a memorial service, but details are not in
place.  I am using her computer to inform as many people as I can.  While I
have done my best at picking out her friends from her e-mail list, there may
be some I miss.  Please pass the word.

The family is taking a few days to pull themselves together, get some
badly needed rest, and get organized.
