The Pause That Refreshes

It was refreshing today to see Dean Johnson, the DFL Senate leader apologize for his lies about gay marriage assurances from Court members. What he did was wrong, what he did was ego based, and he took full responsibility for it and he apologized, sucking it up like a man and never seeking to deny his errors nor was he ever in denial about the seriousness of his mistake.

Compare that to G.W. Bush and Dick Chaney. For over five years we have suffered many lies from them and they are always in denial and never apologetic. So it is with other GOP cohorts such as Tom DeLay and Bill Frist.

Me, I’ll take Dean Johnson any day of the week over the GOP miscreants.
