Turning up the Heat - RALLY! Tuesday 5pm

03/22/2007

DFL'ers,

The Rochester 19, 19 workers who were terminated 4 days before Christmas from the Holiday Inn Downtown, have enjoyed your support, the support of the Rochester City Council, and nearly universal support from guests, who stay once and no more, at the hotel. Now the Federal Government joins the chorus condemning the new owner's actions; he was found in violation (guilty) of every charge we alleged. His violation was so egregious the Federal Government added one! "Rare as hen's teeth," the Federal Government is seeking a "10(j) injunction" against the new owner.

While the writing is on the wall, the fight is far from over. The new owner can appeal and appeal, and continue to pay lawyers what he should be paying the workers. We need to enlighten him that it's better to work with our community's standards, rather than fighting them!

We've got him where we want him. NOW is the time to step it up! NOW is the time to stand up for working people! NOW is the time to

TURN UP THE HEAT and Rally!
WHERE: 220 South Broadway, Rochester - Holiday Inn Express
WHEN : Tuesday, March 27th at 5:00-6:00pm

We had 100 people on one of the coldest days of the winter, we should be able to beat 100 as Spring is breaking - there's an overhang so if it's raining ralliers will be dry!

Everyone turn out for a fun time!

Feel free to email or call with any questions whatsoever. If you would like to help with the rally email or call:
