Univ. Minnesota Buildings Evacuated

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Seven buildings at the University of Minnesota's Minneapolis campus were evacuated Wednesday after a professor discovered a bomb threat.
The professor found a note in Smith Hall that included a bomb threat against several campus buildings, and the buildings, including a library, were evacuated Wednesday afternoon, the university said in a news release.
Classes in those buildings were canceled for the day.
The threat came only two days after the deadly Virginia Tech massacre by a 23-year-old student that left 33 people, including the gunman, dead.
Universities and public schools in several states have ordered temporary lock-downs or evacuations since Monday. Some of those threats mentioned the Virginia Tech massacre.
