There are lots of Wellstone-related events in the Twin Cities coming up:
Tomorrow (Tuesday, October 18) at 7:00 pm, Jeff Blodgett will speak at the Suburban World Theater about our new book, Politics the Wellstone Way: How to Elect Progressive Candidates and Win on Issues . (To learn more, click here.)
On Wednesday, October 19 at 5:00 pm, Blodgett will discuss the book at the University of Minnesota Bookstore in the Coffman Union.
On Thursday, October 20, the History Theatre’s RAW STAGES presents Wellstone! a new play about Senator Paul Wellstone by Mark Rosenwinkel. The play is part of the History Theatre’s New Works Festival. The show starts at 7:30 pm, with a reception at 6:00. Tickets are $10 for each show or $25 for a festival pass. Also on October 20 at 7:00 pm , Bill Lofy will read and answer questions about his new biography of Paul Wellstone at Micawber’s Bookstore in St. Paul. He also reads from his book on October 21 at 7:00 pm Amazon Bookstore in Minneapolis, and on October 25 at 7:30 at the Barnes and Noble/Galleria in Edina. Click here for more information.
On Sunday, October 23 at 2:00 pm , attend the premiere of The Magic Green School Bus, a new half hour documentary about the late Paul Wellstone produced by kids at Lake Country Montessori School in Minneapolis.
