Dear Friends,
We are less than two weeks away from Election Day! With your support, we have built an amazing campaign. From St. Cloud to Stillwater, the energy is palpable. But we can’t stop now. In the last week alone, the National Republican Congressional Committee has spent over $450,000 in attack ads against me. They have put ads on television, radio, and have sent out mail and made phone calls attacking my values, our values.
This is such an important race, not only for the 6th District, but for all of Minnesota and this nation. I am so grateful to have had you on this journey. Our campaign has been about hope and pulling people together. Our campaign has been about the real issues affecting middle-class families. I can assure you that once elected, I will fight for middle-class tax breaks, an increased commitment to public education, affordable health care and alternative energy and transportation solutions. But I can’t do it alone.

I have stayed focused on my belief that there are more good people in the world than bad and when good people pull together amazing things happen. We must and we will win this seat.
A recent poll by the Star Tribune has us at 8% ahead, despite the fact that we have been outspent 2-to-1. We cannot stop now. With less than 14 days to go, I need your help to finish strong and get our message out.
Tomorrow, Laura Bush will be here to raise money to fund Michele Bachmann’s negative attack ads against me. I once again ask for your support.
