Will be the speaker for CCHC conference
St. Paul, Minnesota—Today, CCHC announced that U.S. Senator Tom Coburn, M.D. will be speaking at its annual health care conference.
Dr Coburn will speak to attendees and discuss the present situation with American health care.
Senator Tom Coburn, M.D., is a physician in Family Practice and Obstetrics, a U.S. Senator from the state of Oklahoma, and a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Dr. Coburn has been a key proponent of accountability and transparency at all levels of government. As Chairman of Federal Financial Management, he has held hearings on improper government payments.
Two days ago, legislation co-sponsored by Dr. Coburn and Senator Barack Obama to create a database of government spending was signed into law by President Bush.
In addition to presenting on the state of American health care, Dr. Coburn will participate in CCHC popular’s interactive Q & A discussion with the audience.
