WALZ FEATURED IN JANUARY/FEBRUARY
ATLANTIC MONTHLY MAGAZINE

Retired Command Sgt. Major and DFL congressional candidate Tim Walz will be featured this month in an article entitled “Company, Left” by Joshua Green of The Atlantic Monthly.  The article focuses on the increasing number of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom veterans running for Congress as Democrats in 2006.

Walz, a veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom said, “I’m pleased that members of the national press are taking note of this important movement.  Critics on the right are attempting to dismiss the public unrest with the way the War on Terror is being handled by this administration and this Congress.  The fact that so many Democratic veterans are running is evidence that military personnel also believe that America can do better.”
