WALZ TO ASSIST WITH DISASTER RELIEF

Rushford, MN-Today, Congressman Tim Walz and staff will be on hand in four different locations in southeastern Minnesota to assist residents with the disaster relief process.

"I hope that we can be both helpful and heartening in these uncertain times," Walz said. "Nothing that we do can replace family photos and cherished memories or make up for the loss of a home. What we can do, is assure that the relief application process goes as smoothly as possible when federal aid does become available."

Walz or his staff will be in the following locations today to collect contact information from resident, allowing them to communicate quickly and effectively with people in need of assistance as soon as a federal disaster declaration is declared.
