Walz With Mondale then Debates Gutknecht

(Rochester, MN)—Area Democrats are invited to a major press conference with Former Vice President Walter Mondale and congressional candidate Tim Walz.

The Press conference will be held on Monday, Oct 2, 3:30pm, at the Rochester War Memorial located at:

3rd Avenue and 7th Street SW
Rochester, MN 55901

Tim Walz and Walter Mondale, who are both veterans, will discuss veterans’ issues including military pay, brain injury research and TRICARE.  Walz will also unveil his next TV ad at the press conference, which is entitled, “Bonus.” The ad will start airing on Tuesday, Oct.3rd.

In addition to the press conference, Walz will debate Rep. Gil Gutknecht earlier on Monday at a debate co-sponsored by the Early Edition Rotary Club, Owatonna Noon Rotary Club, Owatonna People’s Press and Owatonna Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism (OACCT).

The debate will be on Monday, Oct 2, 11:30am – Forum begins at noon – The debate will be at:
