Thanks to an overwhelming response, you helped me exceed our goal and enabled us to raise $30,465 over the Internet in small donor contributions in just one week.  The support is heartening and I appreciate it so much.  You have made an incredible difference in my efforts.

My campaign is off to a great start!  In the next few weeks, I will be unveiling a new website, setting up my campaign office and traveling the state meeting with citizens about their concerns for our collective futures.

People know that I have been a genuine Minnesota fighter for our families and our most vulnerable citizens.  I have worked hard on issues that really matter to our safety and even though I am the leading Democratic candidate in statewide polls and am best positioned to defeat the Republicans in a statewide race, I need to prove that I can raise the dollars to be an effective candidate.

Thursday, March 31 marks the end of the first and crucial financial filing deadline.  Please help me and contribute to my campaign today.  I cannot become an effective U.S. Senator without this much needed financial support.  Your contribution today will prove to people in Washington D.C. and throughout Minnesota that our grassroots movement is real, is strong and that we will win!
