They are coming after me again!

Today the lies and distortions about me began on television.  Michelle Bachman and her cronies will stop at nothing to hold this seat and prevent me from going to Congress.

Public records show that the National Republican Party has purchased nearly $2 million worth of television time in Minnesota’s 6th District.  They will use this money to attack, attack and attack some more.  We have to stop them!

Please help me stand up and fight back against this onslaught.  Your contribution of $100 or $50 or even $25 dollars is urgently needed.  I must have the resources to defend myself and you can help me.

You know me – and you know that the claims that I will increase your taxes are simply absurd.  These are cookie-cutter TV ads being used by the National Republican attack machine in close Congressional races across the country from Pennsylvania to Nevada.

Do you remember my 2004 campaign?  Back then, this same National Republican group accused me of all kinds of horrific offenses.  They even called me a terrorist!  We can not let them get away with these lies again.

Can you send $100 today?  Your $100 or $50 or $25 contribution will enable me to get my story out to voters.  I will tell voters the truth.  I want them to know that I am – and will always be – on their side.  I have spent most of my life as an advocate for children and families and I am not about to start changing now.

The truth is that these lies and distortions hurt.  They hurt me personally and they hurt all of us who allow the deceit to go on.  It is time to stop this nonsense and send someone to Congress who believes in the truth.
